Minitek Slider Pro 5.0.2 is a responsive Joomla slider for presenting content as galleries, carousels and scrollers. It can load items from supported Joomla components, image directories, RSS feeds or custom entries and includes seven layouts that can be overridden when a different presentation is required. Slider behavior can be configured separately for different screen sizes, with arrows, bullets or thumbnails used for navigation.
Content is loaded through source plugins, which allows the same slider system to work with Joomla content and several other data sources. This is useful when a site needs multiple sliders built from different types of material instead of maintaining every slide manually.
The seven included layouts cover different arrangements and can be customized with template overrides. Administrators can decide which parts of each item are visible, such as the title, introduction or image.
Responsive settings include custom breakpoints and the number of items displayed on each screen size. Navigation can use arrows, bullets, a progress indicator or a thumbnail navigator, while slide and fade effects control transitions.
Additional slides can be loaded asynchronously instead of loading the complete set at once. Widgets can be published through a module or menu item, and version 5.0.2 is listed for Joomla 3, 4 and 5.
