Rapi Content Slider 1.2.3 is a Joomla module for displaying Joomla or K2 articles in a responsive slider. Administrators can choose how many articles appear, filter content by date and sort items by fields such as title, ID or publication date. The module also includes controls for text length, slider height, article-list position and image thumbnail generation.
The content source can come from Joomla or K2, allowing the same module to be used on sites that rely on either content system.
Article selection can be limited to a recent time period, such as the last several days, and sorting determines the order in which the selected items appear.
Title and text length can be restricted by words or characters so the slider remains compact. The article list can be positioned on the left or right of the main slide.
Two transition effects are included, and the module supports touch screens. Administrators can also choose whether an article becomes active on click or when the pointer moves over the list item.
Automatic thumbnail generation reduces the need to prepare separate slider images manually. Maximum slider height and category links can be adjusted to fit the surrounding page design.
